Nazeem’s main interest is in educational publishing and writing. For fun (and maybe future serious intent), he also writes children’s fiction. Ballerina Jenny is his first published book (details below). It was included in a new graded series of books in boxed sets for primary schools called ‘Rainbow Reading’.
Consisting of 350 books, divided into seven reading levels, Rainbow Reading includes fiction and non-fiction texts for learners, as well as teachers' guides to each box. There are five boxes of ten books for each level, each box corresponding to a theme.
The
Rainbow Reading series is a complete mini-library, and should interest donors
who wish to support the promotion of reading and English literacy in South
African schools. The series, or any part thereof, can be purchased from the
publisher or any major book distributor.

Ever since she was very little, all Jenny ever wanted was to be a ballerina. But her feet kept growing, until they were far too big for ballet. Jenny was heartbroken, until the day the circus came to town and she saw a clown in the circus with BIG FEET! That very day Jenny joined the circus and became … Ballerina Jenny, the dancing clown.
