Hek Toe! UWC IN THE 1980s
Hek Toe! is dedicated to the University of the Western Cape (UWC) alumni of the 1980s. Its intention is to open a conversation and remind UWC alumni of the rich slice of campus history of which they were part, and the courageous stand that many of them made against apartheid.
Stained for season, cleansed for life
The process of editing is usually dispassionate and clinical, but this was one story that one couldn’t help engaging with, not least because of the courage and genuine spirituality with which Nocawe and Sifiso approached this awful disease. Nocawe’s story is an impressive and humbling reminder that true faith can be an enormously powerful force.
